Triangle SDA

Where did we come from?
Triangle SDA started in the fall of 2020 in the middle of covid when four Duke students got together every Sabbath after online worship to talk about their weeks and status of their faith.
Since, it has grown to have over 30 members going to many different schools in the Raleigh area.
What do you do?
- Socials (Hikes, retreats, outings, picnics)
- Ministry (Community service, bible studies)
- Weekly Vespers
We do not limit what we do to just one area. If anyone has an innovative idea we are all for it!
Who are we for?
Triangle SDA is particularly for young adults ages 17-29. The goal of the group is to create a spiritual community that can cater to the needs of this age range and offer a place to commune with people in a similar stage of life. Most importantly, we want to make it normative for young adults to care about the community and seek to make a change for Christ wherever they can. We do this through on campus events as well as events throughout the semester.
How can I get involved?
If you would like to get involved, send an email to triangleadventist@gmail.com and we will make sure you get connected with the appropriate people!
I'm not in the age range, but can I help!
If you are older than 29 and would like to help we would love your support! We are currently setting up a way to receive donations so text Joshua Petitma at 757-632-9220 and he can keep you in the loop for when that process is finished.
We are also considering starting small groups for Sabbath afternoons, so if you would like to host students (purchase food, provide a place for a sundown worship) then contact Joshua Petitma at 757-632-9220 saying that you are interested!
